Gloria L. DeLeon

Gloria L. DeLeon passed away April 7, 2013. She was born to Alfonso and Paula Lopez on November 25, 1935 in Houston, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by four daughters; Ida Amador of Mathis, Connie Amador of Mathis, Dora Silvas of Corpus Christi, and Guadalupe Saldana of San Antonio. Also by four sons; Francisco Veliz of Mathis, George Veliz of Beeville, Mario Veliz of Mathis, and Jose Luis DeLeon of Henderson, Nevada. She has four sisters; Virginia DeLeon of Houston, Beatrice Lerma of Newark California, Paula Zamora of Mathis, and Irene McGowan of California. Also, she has 3 brothers; Jimmy Lopez of Lubbock, David Lopez of Waco, and Raul Lopez of Houston. She has twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Rosary will be held Wednesday April 10, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral will be held on Thursday April 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Descanso Eterno #2 Cemetary. Pallbearers will be; Albert Amador Jr., Joey Veliz, Mario Veliz Jr., Vicente Amador III, R.J. Silvas and Aughie Saldana.
