Eloisa C. Muniz, age 72, passed away April 28, 2013. She was born February 5, 1941 in Pawnee, Texas to Hilario and Rafaela Cruz. She was a nurse for 30 years, she was a Eucharistic Minister, member of the Crusillos and also a member of New Hearts Transplant Support Group. She is survived by her husand Salvador Muniz, daughter Melissa J. (Andres) Velez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; son Stephen (Elda) Muniz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five sisters Rafaela (Freddy) Cantu of Castroville, Texas, Esperanza (Frank) Espinoza of Freer, Texas, Oralia (Guadalupe) Gonzales of Nell, Texas, Petra Hernandez and Maria (Jose) Trigo both of Lamesa, Texas; two brothers Roberto (Clara) Cruz of George West, Texas and Guadalupe (Linda) Cruz of Kenedy, Texas; 2 grandsons Angel and Nicolas Velez; Adopted grandchildren Lisa Grey, Kimberly Harris, Liz Matthews, Ernest Trevino and adopted great grandchildren, Adonis Miguel, Ariel, Aryana, Nyla, Nayeli, Neriah and Alaina. Visitation will begin on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Thursday May 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
