Effie Mae Schacherl

Effie Mae Schacherl passed away June 10, 2013. She was born March 10, 1933 in Sandia, Texas to Mance and Rose Pearson. She worked many years as an assistant manager of a grocery store and also was a guide for the museum in Orange Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Henry Schacherl and a daughter, Joanna Schacherl Gill. She is survived by one son: Dennis Schacherl of Orange Grove; 3 Sisters: Helen Barton of Tennessee; Marie Johns of Alabama and Barbara Martinez of Alice, Texas. 1 Brother: Thomas Pearson of North Carolina and 1 grandson;; Joshua Tate Gill of Corpus Christi, Texas. Funeral Mass will be June 14, 2013 at 10 A.M. at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church with interment to follow in St. John of the Cross Cemetery.
