Frank Z. "Chico" Herrera

Frank Z. "Chico" Herrera, age 75, passed away August 29, 2013. He was born March 9, 1938 in Robstown, Texas to Delfino and Virginia Herrera. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Elsa Gutierrez Herrera; two daughters Rebecca (Manuel) Riojas of Corpus Christi, Texas and Rosalinda Trejo of Mathis; two sons, Martin Herrera of Mathis and Danny (Cecelia Medrano) Herrera of Mathis; two brothers, Isidoro Herrera of Orange Grove, Texas and Isabel Herrera of Taft, Texas; son-in-law Bruno Gutierrez of Mathis; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A rosary was recited Sunday September 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was Monday September 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed in Descanso Eterno #2 Cemetery.
