John R. Pruitt Jr.

John R. Pruitt, Jr., age 59, passed away September 23, 2013 at his residence due to cancer. He was born October 5, 1953 in Harlingen, Texas. He graduated from Harlingen High School in 1972. He then moved to Houston where he lived for 22 years and later moved to Corpus Christi, Texas working for Bay Industries for 17 years as a heavy crane operator. John loved the beach and his ashes will be thrown into the water at Padre Island. He is survived by his wife Sue Pruitt of Mathis, parents, John and Wilma Pruitt, Sr. of Mathis; one daughter Tori Lynn Salinas of San Angelo, Texas and 3 grandchildren.
