Dieringer Mathis, Texas Margie Fojtik Dieringer, age 69, passed away October 13, 2013 in Gonzales, Texas. She was born June 1, 1944 in Beeville, Texas to Edward and Lela Mae Fojtik. Margie was a retired teacher for the Mathis ISD, she also volunteered for the Christus Spohn Hospice and Christus Spohn Hospital in Beeville. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and Kairos and Emmaus Communities, member of Cenizo Garden Club, founded the Neighborhood Coffee Club and Mathis Birthday Club. She was lovingly called Gran by her grandchildren and their friends. Margie was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Christopher Bulgerin. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Darvin Dieringer, two daughters Becky Dieringer Bulgerin (Andy) of Cypress, Texas and Pam Dieringer Jackson (Rafe) of Gonzales, Texas and one son Keith Dieringer of Burnet, Texas, two sisters Elizabeth Gold of Refugio, Texas and Evelyn Gregorczyk of Canyon Lake, Texas, one brother Felix Fojtik of Tynan, Texas, grandchildren, David Bulgerin, Natalie Jackson, Chrislyn Bulgerin, Lane Jackson and Walker Jackson. Visitation will begin on Tuesday October 15, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. with the family present between 5-7 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday October 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Beth Tatum officiating. Interment will follow in Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan, Texas. Services entrusted to Dobie Funeral Home, 121 N. Duval St., Mathis, Texas, 361/547-3224.
