Porfirio Hernandez Vallejo was born February 26, 1929 in San Benito, Texas to Maximo and Cristina Vallejo.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Santiago Vallejo and Florencio Vallejo; sisters; Maria Magdalena V. Florez, Maria Sabas V. Moncada, Juanita V. Camarillo and Angela V. Zambrano; and a daughter; Maria Olivia Vallejo.Mr. Vallejo is survived by his wife; Rosario Gonzalez Vallejo of Mathis; one daughter:Christina V. (Narciso) Hiracheta of Sinton, five sons: Manuel P. Vallejo of Mathis, Porfirio G. (Dollie) Vallejo Jr. of Pettus, Maximo G. (Sylvia Paiz) of Mathis, Moses G. (Ana) Vallejo of Henrietta, Oklahoma and Genaro G. (Maria Sanchez) Vallejo of Mathis. One brother; Jose Santos Vallejo of Hearne, Texas and one sister; Raquel Pray of Oregon. Sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.A prayer service will be held 7 P.M. November 5, 2013 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. November 6, 2013 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Descanso Eterno II Cemetery
