Lyneta O'Neal

Lyenita O'Neal Mathis, Texas Lyenita O'Neal, age 93, passed away on November 21, 2013. She was born November 24, 1919 in Yoakum, Texas to Edward D. and Christina Sciba. Lyenita was a resident of Mathis for over 40 years and was a devote member of the Argenta Church of Christ. She was a loving and caring Aunt who was always there for her nieces and nephews and always treated them as her own. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard O'Neal, brothers Edwin D. Sciba, Archie W. Sciba and Calvin J. Sciba and a sister Helen E. Randall. She is survived by a sister-in-law Elna Sciba of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends June Gibbs of Mathis and Ruth Keene of Houston. Visitation will begin on Saturday November 23, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. with the family present between 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Sunday November 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Sugarek officiating. Interment will follow in the Argenta Cemetery.
