Maria Rebecca Moreno

Maria Rebecca Moreno, age 74, passed away January 22, 2014. She was born January 15, 1940 in Winterhaven, Texas to Jorge and Maria Galvan. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Artemio and Rolando Galvan and a great grandson Davin Josiah Guzman. She is survived by her husband Jose Modesto Moreno of Beeville, four daughters, Adelaida (Samuel) Ramos, Irene Guzman and Rita (Everett) Moreno all of San Benito, Texas and Maria Rebecca (Ruben) Mendoza of Beeville, three sons George Luis (Celestina) Moreno of Mathis, Jose Luis Moreno of Beeville, Juan Pablo (Angelica) Moreno of Monterrey, Mexico, five sisters, Olivia Lopez of Jerome, Idaho, Balvina Rodriguez of Twin Falls, Idaho, Luisa Sorenson of Gooding, Idaho, Teresa Galvan of California and Belinda Mendoza of New Mexico, four brothers, George Galvan of Salmon, Idaho, Ricardo Galvan of Las Vegas, Nevada, Reynaldo Galvan and David Galvan both of Twin Falls, Idaho, 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A rosary was recited January 27, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was celebrated January 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed in Descanso Eterno No. 2 Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Luis Moreno, Jr, Jose Luis Moreno, Jr., Mauricio Guzman, Samuel Ramos, Jr. and Saloman Ramos, honorary pallbearers will be sons and Ruben Mendoza.
