Eba H. Moreno

Eba H. Moreno, age 67, passed away April 23, 2014. She was born January 18, 1947 in Dinero, Texas to Eliseo and Maria Herrera. Eba was an Air Force wife for 21 years. She played softball, volleyball and was very active in sports. Eba was certified in paramedics as well as working many years in retail as a military civilian with the civil service. She and her husband loved to travel and she was an avid bingo player. Eba loved her family and will be missed by all not only her friends in Texas, but by her many friends all over the world.She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Erasmo T. Moreno, daughters Emy Moreno Esparza of Corpus Christi, Texas and Evangelina "Gina" Moreno of Tynan, Texas, two sons, Erasmo "Chano" Moreno, Jr. of Tynan and Edwardo Moreno of Corpus Christi, four sisters Elda Silva, Estefana DeLeon, Sylvia Serna and Emma Ruiz all of Mathis, one brother Jessie Herrera also of Mathis, 4 grandchildren, Bianca Moreno, Olivia Moreno, Maricela Moreno and John Moreno.Visitation will begin on Sunday April 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Mass will be celebrated Monday April 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catolic Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church
