Rodolfo Federico Paiz

Rodolfo Federico R. Paiz, Sr., age 60, passed away May 31, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1953 in Mathis, Texas to Federico and Natalia Paiz. He is survived by his wife Benita C. Paiz, five daughters Elizabeth (Adan) Liserio of Odem, Texas; Rachel (Richard) Vega of Mathis, Irene (Jose) Velasquez of Irving, Texas, Stephanie Paiz and Virginia Paiz both of Mathis, two sons Rodolfo (Beatrice) Paiz, Jr. of Seguin, Texas and Rene (Alma) Paiz of Odem, Texas, mother Natalia Paiz of Mathis, three sisters Onelia (Carlos) Olivarez of Rowlett, Texas, Evangelina Vasquez of Jacksonville, Texas and Sylvia (Max) Vallejo of Mathis, two brothers Richard (Leticia) Paiz and Rey (Dalia) Paiz both of Mathis and 21 grandchildren. A rosary was recited Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was celebrated Wednesday June 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed in Cenizo Hill Cemetery. THE REUNION HEART Since Heaven has become home I sometimes feel I'm so alone; and though we now are far apart you hold a big piece of my heart. I never knew how much I'd grieve when it was time for you to leave or just how much my heart would ache from that one fragment you would take. God lets this tender hold remain reminding me we'll meet again and one day all the pain will cease when He restores this missing piece. He'll turn to joy my every tear with thoughts of you I hold so dear, and they'll become my special way to treasure our Reunion Day.
