Elfida A. Marez

Elfida A. Marez passed away July 26, 2014. She was born June 12, 1921 in Beeville, Texas to Cresencio and Delfina Avalos. Mrs. Marez was a member of Cristiano Bethel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Marez; son, Arturo Marez and granddaughter, Sara Marez. Mrs Marez is survived by 3 daughters: Beva (Richard) Burdick of Austin; Ninfa (Santos) Gaitan and Dora Olivarez both of Mathis. 3 sons: Joe Marez of Austin; Leo and Richard Marez both of Corpus Christi. 3 brothers: Joe Franco of Mathis, Henry Franco of Corpus Christi and Ben Franco of Dallas. 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. A prayer service was held July 28, 2014 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 10 A.M. July 29, 2014 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
