Stella Padilla

Stella Padilla,age 68, died Oct. 6, 2014. She was born March 22, 1946 in Orange Grove, Texas to Cruz and Elodia Ortiz. She is survived by husband Charlie Padilla, Sr. of Mathis, three sons, Charlie Padilla, Jr., Chris Padilla and Ismael Padilla all of Mathis, four sisters Matilda Zamora, Dora Moore, Elodia Ortiz all of Florida and Eva Ortiz of Georgia, five brothers Cruz Ortiz, Jr. and Israel Ortiz both of North Carolina, David Ortiz of Florida and Francisco Ortiz of Mathis, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A rosary will be recited Thursday Oct. 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Friday Oct. 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Casa Blanca Cemetery.
