Abel M. DeLeon

Abel M. DeLeon, Sr. died Jan. 3, 2015. He was born Jan. 3, 1961 in Sinton, Texas to Ernesto and Maria DeLeon, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother Armando DeLeon, Sr. He was survived by his wife Lucia DeLeon of Mathis, parents Ernesto and Maria DeLeon, four daughters Maria Isabel (Francisco) Hernandez of Victoria, Texas, Cynthia DeLeon of Mathis, Margaret Ann (Antonio) Hernandez of Victoria, Christina DeLeon of Mathis, three sons, Abel (Sue) DeLeon, Jr. of Victoria, Gabriel (Amy) DeLeon, Sr. of San Benito, Texas, Adrian (Noela) DeLeon, Sr. of San Diego, Texas, three sisters Alicia (Roy) Estrada of Skidmore, Texas, Armandina (Robert) Martinez of Ft. Worth, Texas, Ernestina Gamez of Mathis, five brothers, Arturo DeLeon, Sr. of Mathis, Abelardo (Gloria) DeLeon of Tahoka, Texas, Ernesto (Natasha)DeLeon, Jr. of Skidmore, Texas, Elias (Petra) DeLeon of Orange Grove, Texas and Erasmo (Clarissa) DeLeon of Mathis and 11 grandchildren. A rosary was recited Wednesday Jan. 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated Thursday Jan. 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
