Lillian Inez Funke

Lillian Inez Funke passed away February 19, 2016. She was born February 24, 1939 in Three Rivers, Texas. Mrs. Funke retired from Mathis ISD and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Orange Grove. She is survived by his husband of 58 years; Elmer Funke Sr. of Mathis; Two sons; Elmer P. (Monina) Funke Jr. of Mathis and Robert Wayne Funke of Mathis. Two Granddaughters; Jody (Rudy) Valerio and Ashley (Beau) Cherry. Two great grandchildren; Brayden and Brody Cherry. Visitation with the family present will be 5 to 7 p.m. February 23, 2016 at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. February 24, 2016 at First Lutheran Church in Orange Grove with Reverend Jan Putman officiating. Interment will follow in Sons of Herman Cemetery.
