Matilde G. Olivarez

Matilde G. Olivarez, age 79, died June 11, 2017. She was born Feb. 23, 1938 to Anselmo & Josefa Garcia. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Corina Olivarez and brother Reymundo Garcia. She is survived by her husband Alfredo G. Olivarez, six daughters, Josie (John Benavides) Olivarez, Enedina (Luther) DeLeon, Ernestina (Jose ) Rodriguez, Chris Tagle, Janie (Alfredo) Fernandez and Martina (Jerry) Lyles, sister Andrea (Omar) Medina, brother Teodoro Garcia, 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. June 14 at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. June 15 at Calvary Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
