Leonor Martinez

Leonor Martinez, age 87, passed away July 23, 2017. She was born October 9, 1929 in Realitos, Texas to Estevan and Maria Puentes. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ramon Martinez, Sr., son Jose M. Martinez, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, granddaughter Anna Marie Martinez and grandson Ricky Hinojosa. Leonor is survived by four daughters, Mary E. Olivarez of Mathis, Martina Rosenbaum of Tynan, Gloria Olivarez of Falfurrias and Janie Garrett of Mathis, four sons, Ramon Martinez, Jr. of Beeville, David Martinez and Arturo Martinez both of Mathis and Richard Martinez of Pettus, one brother Estevan Puentes, Jr. of Olmos, Texas, 24 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday July 25 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday July 26 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Descanso Eterno #2 Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Martinez, Rudy Rosenbaum, IV, Rudy Olivarez, Jr. , Richard Martinez, Jr., Leroy Martinez, Robert Rosenbaum, Joe Ray Martinez, Roel Hinojosa, Jr. and Robert Martinez
