Lucia D. Mercado

Lucia D. Mercado, age 86, died December 5, 2017. She was born December 6, 1930 in Karnes City, Texas to Leandro and Prudencia DeLeon. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Mercado, her parents, sisters Romana, Trinidad and Petra, brothers Cruz and Isidoro. She is survived by two daughters Sylvia (John) Lozano and Sandy Kennell, two sons, Ricardo Mercado, Sr. and Robert Mercado, two brothers Santos and Julian DeLeon, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 9 at the Calvary Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at the El Rancho de Mispadres Cemetery.
