Anna Stempert

Anna Stempert was born on March 24, 1940 in Hawley, Pennsylvania. She married Ralph Stempert in 1955. Together they raised 4 daughters. They moved to Portland, Texas in 1994. Anna was a very strong woman. She was a good neighbor, always having candy for the neighborhood children. A lover of animals, she always fed any stray that came her way. She had a wonderful heart that could be felt by all those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Georganna Roloson, her sister Catherine, brother Roy and Edgar, husband Ralph.

She is survived by her daughters Florence Stempert, Terry (Roger) Rosseel, Denise (Armando) Stempert, Roxanne Springer and 8 grandchildren all of whom she adored dearly.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Winsteads' Funeral Home in Portland, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home, 500 Wildcat Drive Portland, Texas 78374. Burial to follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
