Anne Rose Noonan

Anne Rose (Ferullo) Noonan was born September 9, 1943 in Weymouth, Massachusetts, and died August 20, 2024. She was the oldest of five girls born to Michael and Elvira Ferullo and graduated from Weymouth High School. She then went to work at The Bargain Center in Quincy, MA. And later, as an office worker at Jordan Marsh Department Store in Boston.

On June 18,1966 she married William (Bill) Noonan, who was in the Navy. They were blessed with, and very proud of their two children, a son Sean and daughter Cheryl Ann. She was also extremely proud of her four grandchildren, Ragan Noonan and Jordan Noonan of Norman, OK., Joshua (Holley) Stephens of Waco, Texas and Craig Stephens of Portland, TX, and great grandson, Brutal Molinari of Norman, OK

During their 58 years together they lived in Milton, Florida, (where both kids were born), Norfolk Virginia, San Francisco, California, Houston and San Antonio, Texas before moving to Portland for the rest of her life. Her work usually revolved around the Catholic Church, working for St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, in Houston, TX as Parish Secretary. She was also a member of the Choir and the Women’s Club along with serving as a member of the Parish Council. She was the CCD secretary at St. Helena’s Catholic Church in San Antonio, before going to work on the Marriage Appellate Court for the Archdiocese of San Antonio. After moving to Corpus Christi, she began working for the Marriage Tribunal at the Diocese of Corpus Christi. Subsequently, she worked for Allstate Insurance before ending her career working in the Central Records department of the Corpus Christi Police Department, where she retired in 2010.

Although she loved being around all her family, her greatest pleasure was being with her grandchildren and great grandson. She loved the Houston Astros and Texans (formerly the Oilers) and the New England Patriots. Anne loved cruising and spending time on the balcony enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of the sea. She also enjoyed traveling and visited numerous Caribbean countries as well as London, England and Italy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Sean, and sisters Vera Jo Nicholasen and Rose Jackman. Left to mourn and remember her are her husband Bill and daughter Cheryl (Rick) Stephens, along with her grandchildren, great-grandson, sisters Barbara (Bill) Parmley of Townsend, MA, Patricia Tocchio of Weymouth, MA, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

How do you spell Love—Anne! She loved fiercely and was a true warrior for Christ.
