Aurora Perez Garcia

Aurora P Garcia entered into eternal rest on Monday January 30, 2023, in Corpus Christi Texas at the age of 91. She was born on April 28, 1931, to Reyes Perez and Candelaria Palacios Perez in Falfurrias, Texas.

Aurora had such a love for the outdoors and loved to work in her yard and garden. You would always find her pulling weeds and tending to her plants and flowers. She also made the best Carne Guisada in town.

Aurora is reunited in Heaven with her parents; her husband Matias J Garcia Sr.; her son Rodolfo Perez, Stepson Matias J Garcia Jr.; brothers and sisters, Librado Perez, Gustavo Perez, Elida Benavides, Francisco Perez, Elena Perez, Albeza P. Garza, and Teodoro Perez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her siblings, Baldemar Perez, Ruben Perez, Octavio Perez, Sylvia Olivarez, Juanita Villarreal, Terecita P. Reyes; daughter in law, Patricia Perez; Stepdaughters, Herlinda Garcia Flores, Rosario Garcia Lopez (Phil) and Nelda Garcia Angel (Pete); grandchildren, Charlotte Perez Harris, Rose M Perez (Fidel), Ruby A Garcia (Lauro), Jerry Garcia, Monica Ybarra (Gavino), Pete Angel Jr. (Stephanie), Jose J Angel, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation for Aurora will be on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 9:00am with a Holy Rosary recited at 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Pius X Mission Church, located at FM 1540 & Co Rd 360 in Sandia, Texas. Interment will follow at Sandia Cemetery immediately after mass.
