Betty Lucille Jorgensen

Betty L. Jorgensen passed away February 26, 2013. She was born August 1, 1925 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Clara DeArman and Harold Beardmore.
Betty and her family have lived in the Corpus Christi area since 1936. She was a resident of Portland for 57 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom and great grandson Justin Jorgensen.
She is survived by her sister, Jacklene Huffman of Corpus Christi; her daughter Karen (Bob) New of Portland; her son Dane (Ruth) Jorgensen of Forth Worth; and 5 grandchildren Tom Jorgensen of Centreville, Virginia, Tonya (Jeff) Griego of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Shanna Jorgensen (Bob Hoffman) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kevin (Rebecca) New of Houston, Melissa (Robert) Brown of Ft. Worth; 11 great grandchildren and 2 nephews and their families.
Special thanks to the Pavilion of Portland for their many acts of kindness shown to our mother.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Limbaugh Funeral Home. Burial to follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
