Candido S. Cuevas

We regretfully, announce the passing of Candido S. Cuevas, 78 of Gregory, Texas on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.  Candido S. Cuevas was a loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be forever loved and remembered by his family and friends.  

Candido, was predeceased by his parents, Reyes and Dolores S. Cuevas and his brother Dionicio Cuevas, of Kingsville, Texas.  He is survived by his 2 sisters, Inez Beltran and Minerva (Richard) Blanton of Victoria, Texas. His wife, Angelica of 58 years along with his daughter Angela (Joe) Guerra, grandchildren, Isaac, Olivia and Victoria of College Station, Texas.  

Candido worked as a Tile Setter for more than 45 years with both GunnTile and Randy Domingue Tile Works. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and tinkering with his1955 Ford pick-up truck. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Winsteads' Funeral Home with the rosary to be recited at 7:00PM that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory, followed by interment in the Gregory Cemetery
