Charles Pena

Charles Scott Pena, age 51, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Hospice Alliance.

Born on May 11, 1970, he was the son of Andrew L. and Josephine (Lara) Pena, Sr. Charles was a graduate of  Mary D. Bradford High School and attended classes at Gateway Technical College.

Charles always liked to be prepared as a survivalist, so he built survival kits and was an outdoors kind of person. He enjoyed riding bulls and attending gun shows. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Wisconsin Badgers.

He is survived by his father, Andrew L. Pena Sr. of Kenosha, WI; his brother, Fredrick (Dawn) Pena of Kenosha, WI; his nephew, Andrew (Jordan) Pena of Crestview, FL; his nephew, Matthew (Gabriela) Pena of Honolulu, HI; his niece, Grace Pena (Zane Stanley) of Eldorado, IL; his niece, Katelyn Pena of Kenosha, WI; his niece, Emily Pena, fiancé (Damion Shepard) of Kenosha, WI; his niece, Jamie Pena of Kenosha, WI and his great niece and nephews, Liam Pena, Addison Pena and Jax Stanley.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Pena and his brother, Andrew L. Pena, Jr.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Nurses at Froedtert South Cancer Center-Pleasant Prairie and to Hospice Alliance for their compassionate, kind, and loving care they provided Charles.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Portland. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at the Gregory Cemetery in Gregory, Texas.
