Cornelia M. Adame

In the early morning hours of January 30, 2022 Cornelia Morales Adame, 94 gained her wings to begin her eternal life with our Lord in Heaven. Cornelia was born on March 07, 1927 in Laredo, Texas, daughter of the late Casimiro and Manuela Morales. She lived most of her life in Gregory, Texas where she raised her six children and was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Cornelia loved to tend to her roses in her garden, cook fabulous meals for her family, loved watching her novelas and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a beautiful, good hearted, devoted, giving mom and grandmother who left behind many loving memories. She will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by parents Casimiro and Manuela Morales, spouse Domingo Adame Sr. , siblings Ofelia Morales Lucio, Maria Morales, Refugia Morales Adame, and grandson Rudy Adame. She is survived by her 2 siblings Beatriz Morales Garcia and Alejandro Morales; Daughters Maria (Richard) Flores, Sylvia (Tony) Garcia; Sons Domingo Adame Jr. (Sylvia), Johnny (Sandra) Adame, Ismiel Sr. (Jackie) Adame, George (Mary) Adame. Additionally, she was a grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The family of Cornelia wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Altus Hospice and Senior Care of Corpus Christi for the outstanding care provided. Viewing is set for Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 5 -7 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Winstead's Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is set for Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory.
