Delia Olivarez

Delia Olivarez, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering love for her family, peacefully passed away in Mathis, Texas. She was born on February 21, 1931, in Beeville to Jose and Patricia Aleman.  

Delia will be remembered for her warm and welcoming personality that made everyone feel at home. She cherished every moment spent with her family considering them the cornerstone of her existence.

She is now reunited with her Parents and her beloved husband, Juan Olivarez Sr; sisters, Virgina, Dominga, Jesusa, brothers, Fabien, Juan, Alfredo Aleman.

Delia leaves behind a legacy of love and family values and is survived by her daughters, Sophia (Porfirio) Rocha, Angelina (Isabel Quintero), Patricia (Sam) Cantu; Sons, Juan (Lisa) Olivarez Jr., Rey Olivarez, Armando Olivarez, Mauricio (Rachel) Olivarez; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; Brother, Inez Aleman. whom she adored deeply. 

Visitation will be at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Mathis, TX at 4:00 pm and Prayer Service will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at Winsteads’ Funeral Home at 10:00 am Friday, June 21, 2024 followed by interment at Cenizo Hill Cemetery.

Delia's presence will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace as her memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
