Diana G. Aguilar, a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away peacefully on August 30 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 60 . Born on September 28, 1963, in Alice, Texas, Diana was known for her sweet and caring nature, always prioritizing her family and friends above all.
As a dedicated homemaker, Diana found immense joy in nurturing her household and cherishing the moments spent with her grandchildren. Her life was a testament to love, compassion, and unwavering support for her loved ones. She took great pride in being a devoted wife to her husband, Juan M. Aguilar, while also nurturing the bonds with her children: Juan M. Aguilar Jr., Moses Aguilar, Elizabeth Aguilar, Maria Elena Aguilar and her stepson, Israel Pena.
Diana's legacy will continue through her grandchildren: Haylen Aguilar, Tiffany Aguilar, Madelyn Aguilar, Makenzie Smith, Layla Aguilar, Damien Smith, Chloe Aguilar, Hope Aguilar, and Rose Aguilar. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she reveled in the joy they brought to her life.
Diana is also survived by her sisters: Teresa Moreno, Maria Anita Villarreal, Maria Elena Moreno, and Gloria Gonzales, who will carry on her memory within their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Elvira Gonzales; her brother, Lupe Gonzales; and her in-laws, Manuel R. and Guadalupe G. Aguilar. Their spirits live on through the values and love that Diana instilled in her family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Winsteads' Funeral Home in Mathis, TX. Holy Rosary will follow that same evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. John of the Cross in Orange Grove, TX. Interment will take place immediately following the Mass at Pro Union Cemetery in Orange Grove, TX.
Diana G. Aguilar will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her memory live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
