Dorrace Cook White, born April 8, 1925, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2012. She was 87 years old.
Dorrace was a woman of great faith, never without a smile and a kind word and always thought of others before herself. One of her greatest blessings was being able to attend church on Easter Sunday, her 87th birthday.
Dorrace was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Douglas White. She is survived by daughters, Sandy (Larry) Brezina and Sharon White; grandchildren Brandon (Tracey) Brezina, Linette (Aaron) Littrell and Ty Douglas Gayhart; great-grandchildren Jack and Case Littrell and Cash Brezina; sister Lois Terrell; niece Anne Hardin and many loving friends.
Dorrace was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portland, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00pm Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home in Portland, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am Monday, April 30, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Portland followed by burial at the Palms Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to First Baptist Church.
