Elodia Villarreal Cardona

Elodia Villarreal Cardona, 89, left her earthly home to join her Heavenly Father for eternity on October 29,2021. She was surrounded by her family when she took her final breath.

Elodia was the youngest of ten living children, born in Sandia, Texas to Teodoso & San Juana Villarreal. She married Noe Cardona in 1949 and together they had two children, Noelia Cardona(Houston, Texas) and Amador Cardona (Mathis, Texas).

Throughout her life, she worked hard and laughed whenever she could. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior in the 1970’s and spoke His name with love and adoration until the day of her earthly death. She is preceded in death by her parents, Teodoso and San Juana Villarreal, her husband Noe Cardona and  her siblings, Fidel Villarreal, Cristelia Villarreal Encinia, Adan Villarreal, Josefa Villarreal Encinia, Sylvestre Villarreal, Eva Villarreal Ortiz, Jesusa Villarreal Lopez, Abelardo Villarreal and Lucila Villarreal Vasquez

Elodia’s legacy will be lived out through six grandchildren, Kathy, Tania, Joshua, David, Chastity and Joey in addition to 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Carranza, John Olivarez, Gaspar Torres, Frankie Silvas, Ignacio Caravantes, Lonnie Villarreal.
