Elvira P. Pena
Elvira P Pena, 83 years of age, passed on Sunday January 2, 2022 in Cedar Park TX.
Elvira was born April 1, 1938 in San Antonio TX to the late Valentine Paredez and Eduvjes Rodriguez
Paredez.
She was married to the late Elias A Pena and had seven children. She is preceded by two sons, Raymond
Pena and Elias Pena Jr. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jonathan Pena.
Elvira is survived by daughter Rose Morin (Anthony Morin), daughter, Sylvia Smith (Thomas Smith),
son San Juan Pena (Julia Pena), Daughter, Mary Lucy LaBarbera, son Joe David Pena (Silveria R Pena),
sister Delia Paredez Obregon, sister Eva Paredez, brother Raul Paredez, brother Adam Paredez, many
grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Elvira was an excellent cook, she and her husband spent many years using their talent fundraising for
the sick. She also had a passion (green thumb) for gardening. If you know her, a gifted plant made her
day! She continued this passion through the end, her son Joe David set her prized planted flowers right
outside her door, in viewing distance for her enjoyment. She also spent years sewing, embroidering and
quilting.
Elvira P Pena will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Please join us in celebrating her life.
Services will be held in Mathis TX.

Followed by procession to San Patricio Cemetery were she will rest with her husband.
Pallbearers will be Elias Pena III, Joel Pena, Chris Garcia, Patrick Garcia, Roger Cantu, Anthony LaBarbera.
