Eva K. Feely

Eva Katheryn Feely, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, passed on August 23 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 89.  She was born in Hermiston, Oregon on June 18, 1933 to Daniel Edward McMillan and Opal Pearl McMillan.  Although she lived her last years in Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi, Texas Eva always called the Pacific Northwest her home.  She is survived by son Sam (Lupita) Goucher, Portland, TX; Daughter Katheryn Duncan (Tom), Medical Lake, WA; Son Larry (Diane), Spokane, WA.  Sister Edna Leggett, Spokane, WA. Six Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

Do not stand by my grave, and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the day transcending soft night.
Do not stand by my grave, and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
