Guadalupe Abrego DeLeon

Guadalupe Abrego Deleon age 76 of Sinton and Portland, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 4^th surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to Jose Abrego and Maria Esther Padilla in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

She married Edwardo Deleon and they had four children, Andorra Yardley (Tom Yardley), Edward Deleon (Esmer Deleon), Sandra Roblez (Pete Roblez) and Mary Esther Deleon (Martin Davila). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lupe was employed by the Sinton Independent School District for 29 years as a custodian. She loved her job, the teachers, and most of all she loved the students.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, sister, and husband Edwardo Deleon of Sinton, Texas. Lupe was always entertaining to be around. She enjoyed singing and dancing. Most of all she loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 8^th at Winsteads' Funeral Home in Portland. A Rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. the same day. Immediately followed by a gathering at the Yardley residence, 102 E. Janin Circle, Portland, Texas.
