Guadalupe M. Gonzalez

Guadalupe M. Gonzalez, 95, of Gregory, TX, died March 4, 2024 at her home surrounded by her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents Rosendo and Porfiria Montez, her husband Augustin L. Gonzalez, two sons Ernesto Gonzalez, and Augustin Gonzalez, Jr., and  eight sisters. 

She leaves behind her daughters Carmen Potter, Delia Rios, Teresa (Mario Salazar) Gonzales, Lupe Sanchez, Janie Hinojosa, Elisa (Alex) Castro, and Esmeralda Madrid, one sister Herminia M. Delgado, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Rosendo Delgado, Frank Delgado, Robert Potter, Joe Rios, Albert Vera and Frank Esparza. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Portland, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gregory Cemetery.
