Guadalupe Calderon Jimenez

Guadalupe Calderon Jimenez passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 79 in Mathis, Texas. She was born on October 26, 1944, in Manchaca, Texas to Julian Calderon and Louisa Reyes. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband, Roberto Navarro Jimenez. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Rose Ann Jimenez, Denise Marie Jimenez, and her grandson, Antonio Ontiveros Jr.

Guadalupe was a cherished member of her family, deeply loved by her surviving relatives. She leaves behind her beloved children, including Sylvia Jimenez, Julian (Carolina) Jimenez, Robert Jr. (Cynthia) Jimenez, Mary Alice (Cruz) Dominguez, Georgia Ontiveros, Felix (Jessica) Jimenez, Christina (Jerry) Dominguez, and Angel (April) Mendieta. Guadalupe was also a proud grandmother to 19 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 47 great-grandchildren, great-great -grandmother to 5 great-great grandchildren who will fondly remember her warmth and love.

Visitation for Mrs. Jimenez will be at 2:00 pm and Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Winsteads' Funeral Home in Mathis. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mathis, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Julian Jimenez, Angel Mendieta, Jerry Martinez, Robert Jimenez Jr., Ramiro Garcia, Felix Jimenez, Jesse Garcia, Paul Calderon.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Isabel Mendieta, Julie Longoria, Phillip Jimenez, Logan Longoria, Jason Longoria.

Guadalupe Calderon Jimenez's legacy of love and family will continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of those she leaves behind. Her indelible spirit will be missed.
