Irene Bluemel went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was born May 9, 1946 to Benton and Lois Guillaudeu in Corpus Christi, TX. She was the office manager for Whitney-Vaky Insurance until her retirement and she was a member of the Bayside Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Richard "Bill" Bluemel in 2009.
She is survived by her daughter Lacey Bluemel and son Rusty (Stephanie) Bluemel both of Portland, TX; five grandchildren Chelsea, Tyler, Taylor, Taryn, Rowdy Bluemel; three nieces and lifelong friends Billy Paul & Lynette Fricks of Bayside, TX.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Portland Church of Christ. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bayside, TX.
