James E. “Jim” Wilder

Jim Wilder passed away on July 25, 2014. He was born in Houston, TX on November 11, 1934 to James Eugene Wilder, Sr. and Mae Catherine Mitchell Wilder. Jim retired from Reynolds Metals Sherwin Division after nearly 30 years of service in both the Laboratory and Engineering Department. Jim married Geraldine “Gerry” Moczygemba Wilder in 1961 and they have four daughters, Karen (Mark) Atwood, Cynthia Setzer, Cheryl (Earl) Battey, and Laura (Jon) Granberry, six grandchildren, Jonathan and Kristin Atwood, Josiah and Jeremy Brouillette, Kyle and Kaleb Battey. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Ann Romig. He is survived by sister, Mary Jo Jackel and many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00pm – 8:00 pm with Rosary/Scripture Service at 7:00pm, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Limbaugh Funeral Home, 500 Wildcat Drive, Portland, TX. Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1008 Austin Street, Portland, TX on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Interment to follow at the Palms Memorial Gardens, Portland, TX.
