James Timothy Sullivan

James T. Sullivan died on October 16, 2011 in Portland, Texas. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 5, 1913. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on November 15, 1933 and retired from the Navy on July 1, 1960 at the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was employed by San Diego County in the Veteran's Service Department for 12 years.
He is survived by his daughter Kathy Ripley of Cardiff, CA, son Dennis of Jackpot, Nevada and grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert Jr., Thomas Ripley and Eric Sullivan.
Jim wanted this notice to express his love for his very dear friend Juanita Meadows.
A celebration of his life will be planned for later in November. Mr. Sullivan's wishes were to be cremated and interred in the Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, Ca. alongside his late wife Fern Haire Sullivan.
