Jeannine Watts passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born on January 5, 1929 in Coffeyville, KS to Thomas R. Flowers and Velma E. (Sally) Flowers. She was an only child. She spent her elementary school years in Coffeyville with her mother and grandparents while spending her summers in Houston, MO with her father and grandparents and beloved cousins. Her family moved to Virginia for a short time, then to Portland, TX where she attended Gregory High School. She married Forrest D. Watts of Coffeyville, KS on December 30, 1948. Jeannine was a mother and homemaker staying very busy making three children feel very loved and secure. After raising her children, she went to work at Sears Roebuck for extra Christmas money and retired 25 years later. While at Sears she quickly moved up the ranks and was the Parts and Service Dept Manager when she retired. After retirement Jeannine's passions were her grandchildren and working in her beautiful yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hoppy Hall, Sally Hall, Tom Flowers, and her son-in-law Ronnie Anderlohr. She is survived by her three children, Sherry Twilligear (Skip) of San Antonio, TX Danelle Anderlohr of Corpus Christi, TX and Danny Watts of Portland, TX; her grandchildren Ryan and Shannon Anderlohr, Christopher Watts, Tracey Dalrymple (Bryson), Coby Twilligear (Christi), and eight great-grandchildren. The family extends special thanks to Alicia Russell, Lidilla Rodriguez, Light House Hospice and Dr. Jerome Lee Sang for their caring and support.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00, Thursday, March 29, 2012at the Limbaugh Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Portland, TX at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 30, 2012, Interment to follow at Palms Memorial Gardens.
