Joe "JB" Benavides

Joe (J.B.) Benavides went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was born on June 29, 1962 in Falfurrias, Texas to the late Joe Benavides and Argelia Flores Benavides. He graduated from Gregory-Portland High School in 1981.

He was preceded in death by his father Joe Benavides. He is survived by his son Joe R. Benavides (and J.R.’s mother Sylvia Valdez); his mother Argelia Benavides; brothers Ricky (Delia), and J.J. Benavides; his sister Sandra (Daniel) Cantu; and several nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory, with the funeral mass to follow.
