John Russell

John Elton Russell passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023. He was born July 31, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas. He was retired from Berry Construction, Corpus Christi, Texas and was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lydia Marie Russell. He is survived by his four sons: Dennis Wayne (Judy) Russell, Michael Gene (Gracy) Russell, Ben William (Pamela) Russell and Kenneth Floyd (Linda) Russell; 16 grandchildren; 30 Great-grandchildren; 6 great-great- grandchildren; one sister: Ellouise B. (Jim) Gotcher. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Winsteads’ Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Palms Memorial Gardens, Portland, Texas.
