Jose P. Briseno Jr., passed away on December 15, 2019 at the age of 55 in Mathis, Texas. He was born on April 9, 1964 in Sinton, Texas to Jose and Juanita Chavez Briseno Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 4 Sisters: Carmen Martinez, Connie Benavidez, Gloria Bustos, and Sylvia De la Puente.

Survived by 2 Sisters Elodia Rodas, Rachel Hernandez, 1 Brother Jesse Briseno, Special Niece Gina Martinez Ovalle, 3 Special Nephews Leroy Martinez, Rolando Garcia, Omar Martinez, and numerous Nieces and Nephews, 1 Daughter Jolynn Hernandez, and 4 Grandchildren

Pall Bearers: Leroy Martinez, Rolando Garcia, Omar Martinez, Chris Ovalle, Adrian Rodas, Alejandro Garcia.

Honorary Pall Bearers: Gustavo Ovalle, Alejandro Ovalle, Christian Garcia.

Visitation will be at 11 am and Holy Rosary at 7 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas followed by Interment to Cenizo Hill.
