Joann Proctor died in Bayside, Texas, on Saturday Sept. 18, 2021 at the age of 78 after a long battle with serious health issues. She went to sleep in death at home attended to by her loving husband and the support of close family bonds. She is survived by her husband, Ron Proctor, also from Bayside; her Father-in-Law Chester Proctor of Portland, Texas; her children Adam (Paige) Ogan of Aransas Pass; George (Jamar) Ogan of Costa Mesa, CA and Loyd (Shannon) Proctor as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was deeply beloved, having a generous spirit, constantly making little gifts for people; she truly cherished the closeness of family. She never boast of personal achievements, though she had many. The one thing she was always ready to talk about was her faith in God's Kingdom. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses her confidence in the principles set forth in God's Word the Bible was undeniable. Oh, how we will miss her!
She has unwavering trust in Jesus words "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life............................................................................................................................... "
John 11:25
Until we see Joann again in the resurrection, she will be deeply missed but always remembered with love and affection.
WE thank all our neighbors, friends, and the congregation for the many acts of compassion bestowed upon us to ease the pain of losing a loved one. The family will attend grave side arrangements. You may join others and watch a collage presentation of her pictures along with some pleasant music that she enjoyed at the following free website
