Laura Natalie Phillips, known affectionately as Nicki, passed away on April 2, 2024, in Georgetown, Texas. She was born on September 20, 1923, in Woodsboro, Texas to Henry E. and Sarah Josephine Sullivan. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. Phillips Jr.; sisters: Josephine Gerdes, Mildred Gerdes, Ada Cannon, Arline Byrd; brothers, Henry Sullivan Jr., JC Sullivan.
Nicki's life was dedicated to creating a warm and loving home as a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother..
Throughout her life, Nicki achieved significant milestones that brought her great pride. She was a cherished member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, she was a Colonial Dame, a Registrar General of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, as well as the President of the Garden Club in Brownsville, Texas. Nicki also had a passion for Genealogy.
Nicki is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Phillips; sons: Robert Phillips III, Frank Phillips, and Patrick Phillips; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will take place at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024 at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in San Patricio, Texas.
Laura "Nicki" Phillips will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her gentle spirit and kind heart. Her legacy of love and dedication to family will continue to inspire generations to come.
