Lauro Gabriel Chapa

Lauro G. Chapa gained his angel wings on December 19, 2021. He was born on October 19, 1972 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Enedelia and Fidel Chapa Jr.

Gabriel was a young free spirited man. He made a friend everywhere he went. He enjoyed many hobbies including fishing; BBQing, music, Hot Wheel collecting, Star Wars and being around those he loved most. He always had a smile. He was full of laughter, jokes, and was King of funny faces. He enjoyed making others smile and was always the life of any party he joined.

Left to cherish Gabriel’s memory are Mother, Enedelia Rodriguez; Father, Fidel Chapa Jr.; Daughters Juliana Chapa (Elias) and Izabella Chapa (Bellie). Son Brenton Pardun. Brother Fidel Chapa III (Sandra). Sister Siboney Chapa. Nieces Bianca Cisneros and Stephanie Chapa. Nephews Andrew Stillwell and Alex Chapa.

Pallbearers: Elias Rivera Jr., Andrew Stillwell, David Garcia, David Chapa Jr, Justin Otto and Jesus Gonzalez

Honorary Pallbearers: Fidel Chapa III, Rick Garcia, Chris Garcia, Alex Brazier, Ismael Pruneda, Lupe Perez and Papa Ron

Visitation will be at 10 am Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Dobie Funeral home in Mathis, Texas. Rosary 1:30pm, and Mass at 2pm at Sacred Heart Church in Mathis, Texas followed by interment to Descanso Eterno II.

Fly high our beautiful angel and watch over us, continue being our protector Pappy.
