Leonor Trevino

Leonor R. TreviA±o 91, born April 19, 1920 in Dripping Springs , Texas was called to be with the Lord, our Savior on Friday, May 27, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
Leonor was predeceased in death by her husband of 69 years Francisco L. TreviA±o Sr, her parents, Candelario and Gertrudes Ramirez, son Alfredo R. TreviA±o Sr. and granddaughter Debbie Garza-Agueros.
Left to cherish her memory are her seven children: Aurora T. Garza, Frank TreviA±o Jr. (Alicia), Albert TreviA±o (Janie), Mary Jane Trevino-Garcia (Robert) of Portland, Amelia Flores (Jesus) and Frances Rangel (Adan) of San Antonio and Jesse TreviA±o of McAllen, Texas and a daughter-in-law Isidora TreviA±o. She had 27 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
Spirituality and family were her main focus in her blessed life. She was very devoted to her faith. She prayed the rosary daily and was a lifelong catholic and member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Portland which she served in many ways throughout the years. She was a member of the Guadalupana Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was the first President of the Guadalupana Society in 1958 under Father Kunz. Her pride and joy was when she became a "cursillista".
Patience, compassion, kindness, wisdom and understanding were only a few of the many wonderful and beautiful qualities that could be bestowed upon her. She was always there for her family for support, guidance and encouragement. Her highlight was to be surrounded by family at gatherings.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Limbaugh Funeral Home and will continue at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Portland, Texas from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Catholic Church in Portland, Texas. Mass will be officiated by Monsignor Mark Chamberlain with interment to follow at the Gregory Cemetery in Gregory, Texas.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Noel Longoria, Armando Flores, Randy Garza, Roland Rangel, Frank TreviA±o III, Orlando TreviA±o, Freddy TreviA±o Jr., Albert TreviA±o II, Robert Garcia Jr. and Justin Garcia.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Darryll Collins, Dr. Jerome Lee Sang, TriSun Coastal Palms, Lighthouse Hospice, Limbaugh Funeral Home and all their staffs.
