Maria G. Farias

Maria G. Farias, age 88, died September 24, 2018.  She was born September 8, 1930 in Yorktown, Texas to Rufino and Maria Garcia. She was preceded in death by her children Lucas Farias and Lydia Ortiz.   She is survived by two daughters Elvira Montelongo of George West, Texas  and Sylvia Trevino of Mathis, four sons, Jesse, Gilbert and Jose Farias all of Mathis and Juan Farias of Corpus Christi, four sisters, Olivia Diaz of Beeville, Frances Saenz of San Antonio, Elena DeLaGarza of Kenedy, Texas and Eloisa Sauceda of Mart, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great  grandchildren.   Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday Sept. 27 at Dobie Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m.  Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Friday Sept. 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Descanso Eterno #1 Cemetery.
