Martin Garcia Jr.

Dear Garcia family and friends,

It is with hearts that we announce the passing of Martin Garcia Jr. on July 29, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Martin was born on October 27, 1985, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a beloved, brother, and friend to many.

Martin pursued his passion for video gaming by attending college, where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the industry. Known to be a private individual yet incredibly kind-hearted, Martin touched the lives of those around him with his fulness and generosity.

During his life, Martin also dedicated time to military service, earning accolades such as the Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon. His military education included training in Combat Life Saver and Field San Team.

One of Martin's greatest joys outside of his career was indulging in video games - a pastime that brought him immense pleasure and relaxation.

Martin is survived by his mother Velia Sanchez and father Martin Garcia Sr (Estella Pena). He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Minerva (Victor) Ramos, Lizette Garcia, Samantha Jo Garcia, Melissa Garcia; Mark Anthony Pacheco, Oscar Lee Flores, Fabian Pacheco Jr., Jason Lee Pacheco; as well as his maternal grandfather Manuel (Antonia Maria) Sanchez; paternal grandmother Carolina Garcia; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Martin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Teresa Sanchez and paternal grandfather Margarito Garcia. Although he is no longer with us physically, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

We celebrate Martin Garcia Jr.'s life - a life filled with passion for gaming, dedication to service, and kindness towards others. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished by many.
