Michelle Roque Niño

Michelle Roque Niño, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 5, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 53. Born on August 1, 1971, in Taft, Texas, to Valdemar and Ramona Roque.  Michelle touched the lives of many with her kind and welcoming spirit, embodying a nurturing personality that made everyone feel at ease. Affectionately known as the “Mother Hen” to all, she had an extraordinary ability to bring comfort and joy to those around her.

Michelle is survived by her father, Valdemar Roque, and her cherished children: Alyssa (Daniel) Flores, Julyssa Niño, Emily Gutierrez (David), Elizabeth Archie, Robert Niño, Brandon Archie, and Henry Archie Jr. She was also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. In addition to her immediate family, Michelle is remembered by her siblings: Elsa (Johnny) Puentes, Julie Gonzales, Melissa Roque (Jose), Lisa  Roque (Jesus), Peggy Roque, Debbie Roque (Efren), Michael (Flora) Quilimaco, and Max Roque. Her loving nature also extended to her numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will dearly miss her.

Michelle is preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Roque, her husband, Robert Niño Sr., and her son, Angel Niño. 

As we remember Michelle Roque Niño, we celebrate a life filled with kindness, warmth, and a profound ability to connect with others. Her legacy will continue to shine through the lives she has touched and the memories she has created.
