Naomi French Singleton passed from our care to the arms of her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the age of 82. She was born August 31, 1928 in Taft, Texas. Naomi was known for being a deep lover of family and very generous to all. After high school she served in the U.S. Navy and was proud to serve her country.
She is survived by her husband Bobby G. Singleton, one daughter Linda LaHay Whitney, one step-son Gary G. Singleton, granddaughter Amanda Violet Whitney, and one sister Eleanor Kellogg and many loving friends and relatives.
A special thanks to Jerome Lee Sang, M.D. and to Lighthouse Hospice for their loving and caring services. Very special thanks to dear friends Fred & Nadeane Strom who for 38 years have been there for us.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Palms Memorial Gardens in Portland, Texas.
