Paula M. Robertson

Paula Marie (Kilbourne) Robertson, “Nan”, entered eternal rest on September 17, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born in Harlingen, Texas on September 12, 1947 to Elmer Sheldon Kilbourn and Ella Pauline Kilbourn (Gowing). She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Paula married Johnny Robertson on June 26^th, 1964. After a few years she gave birth to her first son, where their family began. Paula worked at Sears for several years. She enjoyed feeding the animals outside and watching her hummingbirds in her backyard. Paula never failed to put a smile on anyone’s face.

Paula was very active in her community and was an avid church goer for many years. She loved to eat Dairy Queen Tacos and have her Hershey’s. She loved to listen to Alan Jackson and Gospel music. She would always make sure to watch a Texas longhorn or a Dallas cowboy’s football game. In her past time, if it wasn’t going dumpster diving for other people’s stuff, she would stay up in bed all night reading her women’s world and star magazines while working crossword puzzles. She was a total fan of chocolate chip cookies. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is loved and missed by many, and we will forever keep her in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Sheldon Kilbourn, her mother, Ella Pauline Kilbourn (Gowing), her two brothers Jerry Bruce Kilbourn, Russell Gene Kilbourn, her grandson Jordan Robertson and her Beloved Husband Johnny Ray Robertson.

Paula is survived by her brothers Paul Lee Hulme (Tammy), Chester Doyle Hulme (Pamela); children, Kevin Robertson (Bibi), Kristi Moore -Robertson (Jay), Kelly Robertson (Htoo Htoo) all of Portland, Texas; her grandchildren Jeralyn (PJ) Lyle, Ryan Robertson, Trevor Smith (Gabi) of Portland, Texas, Kamryn Hinson (Clinton) of Orange Grove, Texas, Dannielle Zonkel (Chris) of San Diego, California, Jessica Robertson (Tanner Mokry) of Atascosa, Texas, and Kalea Robertson; aunts, uncles, many great grandchildren and a numerous amount of friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2023 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home in Portland, with interment to follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
